Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Are these round trip tickets?
What time are the games?
Because of TV scheduling, game time may not be known until two or three days before the game. Please check the website for scheduled pickup times; we will post them as soon as game time is finalized.
Do I need a reservation?
Yes; only pre-reserved pre-paid seats are guaranteed.
Can I pay cash at boarding?
Pre-reserved pre-paid tickets sold over the Internet are guaranteed. Any space-available long route seats are sold to walk-ups on a stand-by basis for a $5 round trip cash premium over the Internet price. Shuttle route tickets (from/to Rockridge BART and Berkeley Amtrak) are sold online and are also available for cash walk-up at the identical $10 round trip price.
Can I buy a one-way ticket?
One way tickets are the same price as round-trip tickets.
What time should I be at the boarding location?
Please arrive at your boarding location at least 15 minutes before the scheduled departure so you can park and be ready for boarding. The buses generally arrive about ten to fifteen minutes before the scheduled departure time and leave on time.
What about parking?
We have chosen pickup locations that generally have plenty of free on-site parking.
What if I miss the bus?
If you miss the bus, you will need to arrange and pay for alternate transportation.
Are tickets refundable?
Tickets are not refundable and credit will not be issued for any unused portions of the transportation.
What can I bring on the bus?
You may bring any personal items you intend to carry into the game. Onboard consumption of food or alcoholic drinks is not allowed.
Are children allowed onboard?
Unaccompanied minors under 16 will not be boarded.
Do you charge for infants?
Infants under 2 years old may ride in their parent’s lap free of charge.
Are there any other discounts?
Season bus passes provide a discount; otherwise, there are no discounts for children, seniors or others.
How do I make arrangements for a group?
Please give our sales department a call at 800-546-6688 to see if we can help you with a private coach charter.
Are there any stops on the way?
Each bus route normally includes one or two boarding locations depending on demand.
What time will I arrive at the game?
We schedule the routes so that you can expect to be dropped off at the game about one hour before kick-off. This may be impacted by traffic, weather, and any accidents. The two Shuttle routes (from/to Rockridge BART and Berkeley Amtrak) begin service three hours before kickoff and the last departure going to the game is scheduled for 15 minutes before kickoff.
Do the buses have restrooms?
All buses on long distance routes (more than 5 miles) have onboard restrooms.
Can I leave anything on the bus during the game?
The bus you came in on is unlikely to be the one you go home on, so please do not leave anything on the bus during the game.
Who can I contact if I have any questions?
Email your questions to CalFootballBus@BauersIT.com.
Where do the buses park at the stadium?
We will drop you off and pick you up next to the stadium at the designated location for your route. During the game, the buses stage at a remote location.
What if I need wheelchair assistance?
Please call us in advance at 800-546-6688 to arrange for ADA accommodation.
What time do the buses leave the stadium?
Buses generally are available for return boarding late in the 3rd quarter or early in the 4th quarter, depending on when the UC Police Department allows us to spot the buses for return. Buses will depart the stadium as they are filled (this is sooner if the game is a blow-out or if the weather is poor). The last bus will usually depart about 30 minutes after the end of the game.
How will I know which bus to return on?
Your return boarding ticket will be color-coded so we can match you to the correct return bus.
